Kingsbury Academy: MHC

Who I am: Clair Nutt

Why I wanted to be a Champ: I am keen to normalise discussions around mental health, and endeavour to reduce stigma and judgement surrounding mental ill-health. Development of a positive culture, in which open conversations and seeking support are encouraged, is something I value within a school community.

A fun fact about me: In promoting and prioritising my own wellbeing I enjoy spending time participating in sport and going to the Theatre.

How you can reach me: I am available during my working hours. You can contact me in person or via email: c.nutt@kingsbury.thrive.ac

Who I am: Lindsey Quinn

Why I wanted to be a Champ: I am dedicated to promoting self-advocacy and open communication as essential tools for promoting positive mental health. In being an active listener and engaging in meaningful conversations, I hope to encourage a culture of compassion and understanding within my setting.

A fun fact about me: In my spare time I enjoy listening to podcasts and spending time with my young family.

Who I am: Kathryn Croom

Why I wanted to be a Champ: I became a Mental Health Champion to support and encourage meaningful conversations about mental health with colleagues, families, and children I support. I strongly believe in giving everyone the opportunity to discuss their mental health and mental ill-health, and support them to make positive choices that foster their wellbeing.

A fun fact about me: I enjoy crocheting and sewing to relax in my spare time.
